Good morning Friends,
Have you had some plans get changed on you in the last few months? I understand that it can be rough. God would say... "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
When I think of all the plans and events that have been canceled in the last two months, it absolutely blows my mind. Community events have been canceled all the way out through September. It's so sad...
Not to mention weddings, graduations, and life events that have been anticipated for a lifetime.
Many of which are gone forever and not to be brought back the same again. It can be so frustrating, and there could possibly be even anger and bitterness that can arise in us because of that disappointment.
We don't like our plans to change or cancel. We sometimes have a tendency to push and force it to happen. But we must surrender to God's plans. His are better. It's a wonderful feeling to walk in the grace and mercy of the Lord's favor. Although it is hard to lay down our expectations, we must choose to let the Lord fill our hearts today with His joy, knowing His plans are always the best.
As I relinquish what I think and want, I receive the blessing of obedience to God in my life. We most likely won't be able to understand everything or agree. But we can once again choose to let go and let God be God in our lives. He promises He will fill us with His unexplainable peace and joy as we allow Him to teach us to relax and let go.
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
