Life is FULL of Tests...

Do you struggle with some form of Test Anxiety? Test anxiety is a very real condition. I found this description; "Test anxiety is a type of performance anxiety. In situations where the pressure is on and good performance counts, people can become so anxious that they are actually unable to do their best." Academically, testing will eventually end. But life's test continues and spiritual testing is a fact. So what are we supposed to do? Life is full of tests.

First, as believers in Jesus, we should be testing ourselves. Have we allowed some little thing to come into our life that is distancing us from God? "Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?" 2 Cor 13:5 Testing tells the truth of what you know and where you need to grow. When God tests you, He's investing in your growth. He already knows you have within you the power to overcome. To totally ace the test, so to speak. So, when testing comes (and it will), focus on the Lord who loves you and His Word. "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials/tests of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." James 1:2-3 ESV It is very natural to have some "Life Anxiety." Life is a test, but with God, we don't need to fret about the recall of answers, Jesus Christ IS the answer. He is the first and the last, he never changes the rules or lengthens the goals. Through Him, we can rest confident. We are learning to release all anxiety to Him. Through His life-changing power, all "test anxiety" is gone. He will never fail you. "1 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow." 12 "God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward, they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12 NLT
