How it all started...
Awaken Church started as Onaway Assembly of God about 60 years ago and has been changing lives ever since. The ministry you see today is here because of the sacrifice of many amazing men and women of God! The past 12 year's, under the leadership of Pastor Kamron, we have experienced some amazing growth and connection with our community here in Onaway, MI.
Expanding the vision...
The focus of Awaken Church is to reach young families with kids and we do this by engaging with our local school and having engaging kids and youth ministries and outreaches. Just recently we started Phase One of our community playground right here at Awaken Church!
Where we are headed...
Through continued ministries with our kids/student outreaches, our community food pantry, and other vital discipleship ministries... we look forward to growing the Kingdom here in Onaway, MI. We would love to have you join us as we embark on this journey of faith to reach "Just ONE More!"
